Special Event Assistant (part-time): This position requires a desire to learn, an eye for detail and a concierge level of customer service with behind-the-scenes and front-of-house responsibilities with entertainment events.
Job duties primarily include assistance with seating charts and wait lists; venue and green room set-up/tear down; supplies and materials maintenance; ticket sales; phone/email support and patron greeting/ushering.
One year of experience in retail, hotel/restaurant, box office or closely related field is preferred. Cash handling experience is required. Previous experience in event planning highly desirable.
Technical Assistant (full-time or part-time): Candidates will be experienced in computer technology with an emphasis on audio-visual equipment operation and relevant networking and software. This is a great entry point to grow with a respected emerging organization, and work alongside notable scholars, authors, TV personalities, nationally touring and award-winning musicians, and local legends. Serious candidates will also have an energetic, customer-service focused personality and dynamic work ethic.
- Knowledge and confidence using Apple computers / ecosystem and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Ticket selling software/database maintenance and Photoshop experience preferred.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License; Reliable Transportation
- Ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds and access 12’+ ladders
Position will include some evenings and weekends. Benefits and Boca Grande bridge pass included.
