Friends@Home FAQ
Q: What is the difference between Livestream and Video On Demand?
A: Livestream format is enjoyed in real time and at the designated start time, similar to an in-person lecture. You will receive a link to access the program from your smart TV, computer, or mobile device. Video on demand style viewing through our video collection can be accessed by logging in to your Friends@Home account. Once the video has been added to the collection, it can be watched at any time.
Q: If a livestream event is also offered in person, can I attend the lecture with my Friends@Home membership?
A: Friends@Home includes livestream event access and video on demand only. In the event that an in-person lecture can be held, those tickets will be sold separately and on a first come first served basis.
Q: What programs are included with my membership?
A: Lectures in the American Presidents & Politics, America’s Conflicts, Great Adventures & Explorations, History & Heritage, and Global Issues are included. Some concerts may be available to view as a one-time livestream event. Friends@Home does not apply to All That Jazz.
