The Healthy Aging Voice workshop is for anyone interested in learning how to strengthen and protect their vocal cords. Attendees will learn how to be heard in a better way, without getting physically tired or feeling hoarse. The elements of resonance, pitch variation, volume, articulation, breath support, concentration, and focus will be included.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Lorraine DiSimone is a skilled vocal coach and trainer. She received her Master’s in Voice from New England Conservatory of Music and has trained numerous people through workshops in affiliation with the International Forum (founded by the Wharton School of Business) in seminars in Europe and the United States. She also had a successful career as a professional opera singer for 35 years while simultaneously serving as a voice and public speaking teacher in both private and academic settings.
Day 1/Part 1
Small group 50-minute workshop with registration limited to 10 participants in each group. The format will include content presentation, discussion, as well as fun, easy, and safe exercises.
Day 2/Part 2
Private one-on-one 15-minute lesson with you (the participant) and the instructor, Lorraine DiSimone.
