Greetings from the Executive Director ...

I’m often asked how we find the programs that we offer.  Well, they come from you and your unique connections in the world.  Someone knows someone at National Geographic, and presto!  We have a new lecture series developing called Great Adventures and Explorations that will feature Steve Winter, National Geographic Explorer and Photojournalist in January.  Someone knows someone at Random House Speakers Bureau, and presto!  We have a new lecture series called American Presidents and Politics that will feature Pulitzer Prize Winning author Edmund Morris speaking on his trilogy of books on President Theodore Roosevelt.  And there is so much more offered this coming season that you won’t want to miss.

It will be no surprise to you that all of this comes at a cost – which continues to go up as we seek out more current and authoritative speakers.  I hope you will consider sponsoring one or many of our upcoming programs.  We have also developed an option for Premium Reserved Seating in the auditorium.  These additional dollars from sponsorships and premium seating go directly to pay for the talent and transportation costs for the program.

I hope you enjoy the 2014-15 season – it’s going to be better than ever!
